Lawyer Carlo Florio is enrolled in the list of lawyers qualified for civil and criminal legal aid at the expense of the State, kept by the competent professional order to which he belongs (Bergamo Bar Association).

In order to have access to the so-called legal aid, the applicant must have an annual income of less than € 11.528,41 (for this purpose, all the incomes of the family nucleus are added up and also incomes exempt from IRPEF or subject to withholding or substitute tax are taken into account); in the case of disputes concerning personality rights or conflicts between members of the family nucleus, only the income of the person concerned is considered. In criminal proceedings the threshold indicated above is raised by € 1,032.91 for each cohabiting family member.

Legal aid is governed by PART III of Presidential Decree 115/2002, to which reference should be made for specific indications of the methods of access and implementation respectively provided for in criminal, civil and administrative law.
